PSG vs Real Madrid predictions

Paris Saint-Germain have been outstanding in 2025, clinching a domestic treble and the Champions League. On Wednesday they will face arguably their biggest test of the season when they face Real Madrid in the semi-final of the FIFA Club World Cup.

Such is the form of Paris, the bookmakers have them as the favourites to win. Luis Enrique’s team are 13/10 to win in 90 minutes and 7/10 to qualify.

The Parisians have had a comfortable passage to the final. They started by topping Group B with six points. A 4-0 win over Inter Miami in the Round of 16 followed, and they then defeated Bayern Munich 2-0 in their quarter-final, despite finishing the match with just nine men.

After their red cards against Bayern, PSG will be without Willian Pacho and Lucas Hernandez for the semi-final against Madrid. There are still fitness concerns surrounding Ousmane Dembélé, who has only made two substitute appearances at the Club World Cup. In all likelihood, the Ballon d’Or contender will start from the bench.

Real Madrid have looked less assured than Paris have at the Club World Cup. However, they are finding ways to win matches and as a result, Xabi Alonso’s team are in another semi-final of a major competition.

Los Blancos topped Group H with seven points, with only a 1-1 draw against Al-Hilal preventing a perfect record.

A 1-0 win over Juventus in the Round of 16 followed. The result didn’t really reflect the performance, as Madrid were head and shoulders above the Italians and should have won by far more.

Real were then coasting into the semi-final when leading Borussia Dortmund 2-0 in the closing stages of their quarter-final. A crazy few minutes saw three stoppage time goals and a red card for Dean Huijsen.

Eventually, Madrid made it to the final four with a 3-2 win. However, they have keeper Thibaut Courtois to thank for his last gasp save that prevented the match from going to extra-time.

Apart from Dean Huijsen’s suspension for his red card, Madrid have a clean bill of health for the semi-final. The key decision for head coach Xabi Alonso appears to be deciding which of Kylian Mbappé and Gonzalo García will lead the line.

PSG vs Real Madrid betting tips

The form guide is pointing towards a win for PSG. While there were initial doubts about how seriously the Parisians would approach the competition, those concerns have since been put to rest. However, overcoming Real Madrid presents an entirely different challenge. Our match tips follow:

Real Madrid to qualify

PSG look to be the stronger team on paper and should win if they play to form. However, they are now nearing the end of a very tiring season.

Real Madrid have also had a very busy season, but new head coach Xabi Alonso has freshened up his playing XI at the Club World Cup.

Real have already won this competition five times. They’ve also won the Champions League twice in recent years, despite not looking like the best team in competition.

Los Blancos seem to find a way to win big trophies and we can see them taking advantage of a tiring PSG and reaching yet another major final.

➡ Back Real to qualify at 23/20 with SBK

Jude Bellingham over 0.5 shots on target

Jude Bellingham has had six shots at goal in his five FIFA Club World Cup matches (383 minutes), with three on target, including his goal against Pachuca.

Bellingham is a man for the big occasion. He is 33/10 to score anytime.

However, given Gianluigi Donnarumma can produce inspired performances in big games, we are instead backing Bellingham to have one or more shots on target, rather than score.

➡ Back Jude Bellingham to have one or more shots on target at 22/25 with BetMGM

BTTS, both teams 4+ corners and both teams 20+ booking points

There’s a strong chance that both teams will find the net in this semi-final clash.

PSG managed zero corners against Bayern in a surprising stat, but that followed their seven against Inter Miami in the previous round. They also collected 60 booking points in their hectic encounter with Munich.

Real Madrid registered three corners and 35 booking points against Borussia Dortmund, but showed their attacking intent with 11 corners in their previous match against Juventus.

With both sides likely to go on the front foot from the off, there’s every chance that all the components of this bet are within reach.

➡ Back both teams to score, both teams 4+ corners & both teams to get 20+ booking points at 5/1 with Betfred
