Schoolboy, 14, arrested after teen girl, 15, ‘raped’ outside library in broad daylight attack

A SCHOOLBOY has been arrested after a 15-year-old girl was allegedly raped in Surrey.
Police said the assault happened near Chertsey Library on June 27. The boy, 14, was detained as part of the investigation.
Inspector Ian Nash urged people “to remain mindful of what they post online about this as it is a live case with active legal proceedings underway”.
The victim is reported to have been approached by two males while she was with a friend before she was assaulted at around 7pm.
Cops previously shared a CCTV image on social media of a man they wished to speak to.
Detective Sergeant Mihai Kerekes said: “Incidents of this nature are extremely concerning, and we want to reassure the public that a full investigation is underway to identify the person involved.
